MIS Swimming Carnival 2025

On February 6th, 2025, MIS Medan proudly hosted the highly anticipated MIS Swimming Carnival, and it was a spectacular day filled with energy and excitement. The weather was perfect with clear skies and a light breeze, creating an ideal environment for the event. Participants from six schools—Nakamura, SIS Medan, Batari School, Methodist 11, Cita Luhur, and Cita Budaya—came together for this celebration of sportsmanship and community. A total of 153 swimmers competed across multiple styles: freestyle, breaststroke, backstroke, and butterfly. The carnival culminated in a thrilling team relay, marking the grand finale and the most exciting part of the event.
The competitions were divided into different age groups, with winners determined by the fastest times in each group. Medals were awarded to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place finishers in every style for each age category. While recognizing the winners was important, the event’s primary focus was on promoting enjoyment of the sport and fostering new friendships among students from various schools.
We extend our deepest gratitude to the MIS parents for their incredible support. They played a pivotal role in the carnival’s success by providing delicious lunches and refreshments, ensuring all participants were well-nourished and energized throughout the day. This event would not have been possible without their dedication and generosity.
