MIS provides an enriched international curriculum using the International Baccalaureate (IB) as a framework taught in the English language for eligible students of all nationalities, both Indonesian and expatriate students.
The school year begins from August to June annually. Students are welcome to apply anytime of
the year depending on available capacity.

All students are encouraged to arrange a FREE trial lesson prior to registration. Students entering the school in Grade 2 or above are required to complete the MAP test in Reading Comprehension, Language & Literature, and Math. Students who are three or more grade levels behind the grade they are applying for may be denied admission.
MIS does not employ a teacher specialized in children with special educational needs (SEN). However, our teachers have broad experience working with children with many different learning needs and we do have a part-time specialist from New Zealand who works with individual students on literacy and numeracy support in the primary years. We will evaluate each student on a case by case basis. If you have recommendations from a learning specialist, please bring in the paperwork so we can determine how to best work with your child.
Students applying for grades 9-10 should have academic English ability in order to complete more challenging coursework.
MIS does not discriminate on the basis of race, color, gender, religion, sexual orientation and national or ethnic origin.
Students should be at least 3 years old and potty-trained at the time of enrollment. Entrance ages for other grades are based on a student's age as of Oct. 1st as well as academic records.
MIS strongly recommends that students coming from southern hemisphere schools (Jan - Dec Calendars) repeat a semester of their current grade rather than skip a semester of the next grade. Each case will be decided individually.
