PYP 1&2 Earth Day

Earth Day is like a birthday for our planet! It happens every year on April 22nd. On Earth Day, people all around the world come together to show how much we care about our planet, Earth. We do special things to help keep Earth clean and healthy, like planting trees, picking up trash, and recycling things we no longer need.
Think of Earth Day like a big birthday party for Earth, where we give it special gifts by taking care of it. Just like we clean our rooms and take care of our toys, Earth Day is when we clean up our planet and take care of all the living things that call Earth home, like animals, plants, and even us!
It’s important to remember that we don’t just take care of Earth on Earth Day, but every day! Even small things like turning off lights when we leave a room or using both sides of a piece of paper can help keep our planet healthy and happy. So, let’s celebrate Earth Day and remember to love and protect our amazing planet every day!”
Vito – “There is too much trash in the water. We can recycle more plastic.”
Tobias – “We can turn off lights and AC when we are not in the room.”
Shasha – “We can collect trash, and sort some of the things for recycling.”
Myra – “We can help plants and nature by saving water and not wasting.”
Lucas – “We need to reduce, reuse, recycle!”
Iman – “We can collect trash as a community team!”
Emily – “We can plant gardens to make more animal homes and habitats.”
Alexia – “We need to save our planet from too much plastic and trash.”
Afiq – “We can recycle old plastic into new plastic.”

🎵 We have to save our planet so we can live and grow. 🎵
🎵 We might be only children – but we will try, you’ll see. 🎵
