MIS Mini Soccer Tournament (MST) 2024

MIS held its first mini soccer tournament on September 27. We had a great turn out and had many teams from local elementary, middle, and high schools participate. The goal was to improve soccer skills and promote sportsmanship among participants.
The tournament began with a festive opening ceremony with our participating schools: POS School, Kingston School, Sampoerna Academy, Bethany School, SIS Medan, Syafiatul School, Siti Hajar, Bina Ceria Mandiri, and Telkom School. During the games, teams competed in a spirited, yet friendly, atmosphere.
Principal Matthew Gaetano stated, “We are very proud of the students’ enthusiasm and the fair play spirit demonstrated throughout the tournament. This event is not only about winning, but also about learning to work together and respect each other.”
The Mini Soccer Tournament 2024 concluded with an award ceremony attended by all participants, parents, and school staff. It is hoped that this event will become an annual program to foster students’ interest and talent in soccer and to promote competition between local schools.
