MAP Test Results
MAP (Measures of Academic Progress) scores were sent home to families this week. The scores students received in Fall (Term 1) provide the basis for growth over the year. Our staff will be taking a look at how we use data to inform instruction. MAP scores are a valuable source of data for our teachers. We received our first set of growth data in several years from students who tested in Fall (Term 1) of 2022 and Fall (Term 1) of 2023. Our student growth data shows our students’ growth is in the 67th percentile for Math, 64th percentile for Reading, and 78th percentile for Language. This means that our students are outpacing their peers around the world when it comes to student growth. We will be focusing on ensuring that all students at MIS show growth over this academic year. Please feel free to discuss MAP scores with your child’s teacher at Parent Student Teacher Conferences (PSTC) to be held on October 25.
