MINI SOCCER Tournament by Medan City Education Office 2024

In celebration of National Teacher’s Day in Medan City, the Medan City Government, through the Education and Culture Office, organized a mini soccer tournament for elementary and junior high school teachers across Medan. As part of the educational community in the Medan Tuntungan region, MIS actively participated in this event as a form of support for the initiatives of the Medan City Education Office.
MIS was represented by Mr. Exaudi, who joined a team consisting of 12 teachers from various schools in the Medan Tuntungan area. In the tournament, the Medan Tuntungan team advanced to the quarter-finals but unfortunately, their journey ended after losing in a penalty shootout against the Medan Kota team.
The Medan Tuntungan team manager remarked, “It is a fundamental commitment for all participants to uphold the values of sportsmanship. Winning or losing is part of the game. We must appreciate whatever we have achieved. Therefore, the Medan Tuntungan team must stay motivated and aim to perform even better in next year’s event.”
