Events for January 8, 2025 - September 6

All parents are invited to join us for an afternoon tea. We will discuss two upcoming events: the swimming carnival and the MIS Expo/Open day.

After school religion classes will resume on January 18.

Students in grades 1/2 will visit the Orangutan Haven to learn about the work that is happening to help injured orangutans live their best life.

The MYP 45 class will visit a traditional bone healer and a local sauna to learn about the methods they use to heal people.

MIS will hold its annual Swimming Carnival. We have invited local schools to send teams to compete. We look forward to cheering on our Tiger swimmers. School will be dismissed at 12:15.

Join us in the gym for our first assembly of the year. Students will showcase what they have learned in January.

MYP 45 students will visit the herb garden at Socfindo to learn about how native plants are used in traditional medicine.

Grade 5/6 is studying biodiversity and their responsibility to preserve it. They will travel to Bukit Lawang to meet with experts in the field of conservation. They will learn about sustainable living and farming practices and the ecosystem of the rainforest all while having a great time!
