Students Celebrate Sumpah Pemuda with Inspiring Angklung Ensemble Performance

Students at our school proudly participated in the recent Sumpah Pemuda ceremony, embodying the spirit of unity and national pride that the historic day represents. This year, they showcased their talent through a captivating angklung ensemble, skillfully playing beloved national songs that resonate deeply with Indonesia’s cultural heritage. Their performance was not merely entertainment but a powerful reminder of the youthful commitment to uphold the values of one homeland, one nation, and one language.
The angklung, a traditional bamboo musical instrument, symbolized harmony among diversity as each student contributed to a collective melody that echoed the unity pledged by the youth of Indonesia in 1928. Their dedication and passion on stage reflected a living tribute to the Sumpah Pemuda pledge, inspiring all who witnessed to remember that the strength of our nation lies in the collaboration and spirit of its people, especially its young generation.
