On Tuesday, Nov. 11th we will be taking a trip to the Palm Oil Techno Park in Medan. We will discover the processes used to harvest and extract palm oil.

We are currently learning about past civilizations and it will be interesting to compare today’s technology to the agricultural tools used in the past.

If time permits, after the Techno Park, we will visit the Rahmat Museum in Medan to see a variety of taxidermy-preserved animals. Some of these animals are rare or extinct in Sumatra.
